Woody Beardsley

Vice President

A 5th-generation Colorado native, Woody grew up raising Simmental cattle on the high plains southeast of Denver where he developed an abiding interest in ranching and land use. With a unique expertise in conservation easements, his brokerage work has focused on land stewardship, regenerative agriculture, and maintaining working landscapes.  He is actively involved in the management of his family’s hay ranch in Summit County, where he initiated a successful commercial hunting operation.  Ever curious Woody spent the better part of a decade exploring the mountains and streams of Montana and the Pacific Northwest while attending college and graduate school.  Formerly a Senior Project Manager with the Trust for Public Land, he is the founder of a renewable energy development company in Denver. Woody’s passion and depth of knowledge have informed a diverse professional background, including commercial real estate development, outdoor education, backcountry/river guiding, and endangered species and public lands advocacy.

  • “Woody Beardsley went way beyond what we would have expected to help us sell our ranch! His knowledge of ranch and conservation easements was excellent. His communication with prospective buyers was excellent. Our sale was created because of Woody’s experience and his genuine concern to make sure everything was absolutely right.”

  • “Woody’s knowledge and experience made the difference in satisfying the customers requirements. Woody’s unique background in working with an environmental customer, helped lead our discussions with the Colorado Trust for Public Lands. Woody’s communication skills in coordinating the two offers helped the final buyer to move more quickly and meet my expectations.

Working with Woody was a pleasure and complimented my ability to negotiate some challenging issues. We were able to close the transaction in less than thirty days. Woody’s working relationship with Land Title, also helped expedite the transaction. Desi Kirkpatrick at Land Title, did an outstanding job in expediting the transaction at Woody’s request.

I would find it a privilege to recommend Woody to other parties wanting to sell specialty properties, like those being sold by Mirr Ranch Group.
