Brokering over $750 million in ranch real estate since joining Mirr Ranch Group in 2007, Pat Lancaster comes to Mirr Ranch Group from the hunting and outfitting business, where his highly regarded Lancaster’s Outfitters has operated in Colorado, New Mexico, and Nebraska for over 25 years. Over the years, Pat has leased in excess of 1 million acres of private ranch property in these states and currently still outfits on over 250,000 acres of private ranch land in Colorado specializing in archery elk, bighorn sheep, and mule deer. Whether it’s big bulls and bucks, wild quail, or waterfowl, Pat naturally possesses a unique eye for evaluating hunting-oriented property.
Before starting Lancaster’s Outfitters, Pat spent many years in heavy / highway construction working from the ground up as an equipment operator, foreman, and supervisor throughout western Colorado in the oil, gas, and mining industry. This experience has served him well in both the hunting and real estate business, as he has been able to draw from his extensive knowledge in these fields as he has successfully organized and executed many projects including road building, erosion control, habitat enhancement, and restoration projects, including water storage and development, select cutting and prescribed burning, as well as developing and planting food plots for wildlife. This unique combination of skills and experience enables Pat to analyze and envision properties potential from a conservation and sportsman’s viewpoint.
