Overview

The 284 acre Glen Haven Ranch originates on a beautiful elevated escarpment known as Bostwick Park which boasts stunning San Juan Mountain views and gently rolls down to the lush hay fields in the valley below. All of the homes are situated away from the road at the edge of the trees in a very private setting that is adjacent to BLM Lands, which greatly expands the scope of recreational possibilities and big game hunting opportunities. 

Improvements

Improvements include the main home, the original 1920 ranch home, a modular home, a trailer home, a 50×140 hay barn, two 40×60 shops, a loafing shed, and other miscellaneous outbuildings.

Hunting

The ranch is located in Game Management Unit 64, which allows for over the counter elk tags and qualifies for mule deer tags via the Colorado Landowner Preference Program. The big game hunting opportunities on the ranch and surrounding area are truly remarkable due to the combination of all of the hay production in the immediate area coupled with close proximity to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. It is not unusual to see herds of 200+ elk on and around the ranch, as well as very healthy populations of resident mule deer and turkeys. 

Approximately 200 acres of the ranch are primarily irrigated by an engineered sprinkler system that is supplied by excellent water rights that produce an average of 800-900 tons of alfalfa/grass annually.
